On behalf of the elders I wanted to let you know of an upcoming change to the Aletheia Jr. team. At the end of the month, Ginny Manfre will be stepping down as the Aletheia Jr. director. Ginny has served in the role of director for over a year now and has helped to grow and lead this very important ministry within Aletheia Tampa.
Ginny recently wrote to her Aletheia Jr teachers about her leaving:
I have had the pleasure of serving alongside you as your director for the last year and half but at the end of the month I will be stepping down.
When I took this position I was excited and had every intention of keeping this role for as long as God allowed. I began my new journey and then found out the following month after I was hired that I was also pregnant. Ever since I had my son I have felt God graciously leading me to be a stay at home mom full time. This has been a tough decision but after lots of prayer we feel this is best for our family.
I’m looking forward to who God will bring to lead this ministry next. You all do so well serving the families of Aletheia and ultimately the Lord, and I’m confident God will bring someone who feels called and equipped to be your director soon.
The elders and leaders of Aletheia are thankful for Ginny, her assistant director, Lindsay Balogh and their classroom leads for leading the ministry over the last year. They have helped to steward the ever-growing ministry as it grew from an average attendance in the high 50’s each Sunday to now pushing 70 kids each week.
The elders of Aletheia are meeting with potential candidates for the director position and hope to have the position filled by early May, if not sooner. We ask for prayer for the ministry and for God to make clear who will be our next Aletheia Jr. director.
