At Aletheia we are passionate about kids knowing and experiencing the love of Christ. We believe God has given parents the joy and primary responsibility of pointing their children to the Gospel—the good news that Jesus Christ loves and saves sinners. Our role is to come alongside parents and caregivers with love, support, accountability, prayer, training, and teaching. We desire to partner with you and provide resources as you disciple your children.
We pray this ministry blesses your family as we seek to point your children to Jesus! Below is a little general information about Aletheia Jr. and more specific information about our classrooms. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out! You can email us at aletheiajr@aletheiatampa.com
OUR MISSION
The mission of Aletheia Jr. is for the coming generation to know and experience the love of Christ. We do this by coming alongside parents proclaiming who God is and what He has done.
FIRST TIME GUEST INFORMATION
register your children for sunday morning by clicking here!
(Registering your child early will ensure a quicker check-in experience for you on Sunday morning.)
Check-In Procedures
When you arrive, you will receive a check-in tag and security stickers from our family greeting station. Your child will not be permitted into the classroom without a check-in tag. You may take a photo of the security sticker to show the classroom manager upon picking up your child.
THE STICKERS SERVE TWO PURPOSES
CHILD SAFETY: You must present your portion of the security sticker or show the photo of the security sticker on your phone before we release your child at pick up. This ensures the highest level of safety for your children.
FOOD ALLERGIES: Each sticker provides information about any food allergy your child may have.
Children may be dropped off 10 minutes prior to the service and need to be picked up by 10 minutes after the service.
Classroom Safety
We require all of our teachers and leaders to be interviewed, recommended, trained and screened.
We do not allow teachers to be alone with the children.
If we need to contact you during the service we will text you.
Adults are not to enter the classroom without first being approved by the Aletheia Jr Director.
We do not permit outside food or drink to enter the classrooms.
Health & Wellness
Our children and teachers must be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 72 hours before being admitted into the classroom which may include but are not limited to, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, chills, rashes, or fatigue. Please keep your children at home if they have diarrhea or have thrown up recently. We ask that you let the classroom teachers know of any ailments or recent illnesses that may help with the care of your child (teething, recently sick, etc.)
Please let us know of any allergies or medical conditions that your child may have. If your child does have a food allergy, we will have you complete an allergy information form and we will designate it on his or her security sticker.
OUR CLASSROOMS
We offer fun and engaging classrooms for children ages six months through and including fifth graders. While your children are in our care they will have their own time for worship, listen to a lesson from God’s Word, and participate in age-appropriate crafts and activities that will reinforce what they’re learning about God. Older children will also engage in small group discussions and dedicated prayer time.
