Aletheia Jr.

Kids knowing and experiencing the love of Jesus.

OUR MISSION

At Aletheia Jr., we’re passionate about helping kids know and experience the love of Jesus. We partner with parents to point children to the Gospel in a safe, joyful, and Christ-centered environment.

OUR HEART

Partnering with Parents

We believe God has given parents the primary role in discipling their children. Our desire is to come alongside you with support, encouragement, and tangible resources as you lead your family in following Jesus.

We partner with families through:

  • Gospel-centered teaching

  • Loving and trained volunteers

  • Prayer and encouragement

  • Annual Parenting Class & Commissioning

  • Resources for discipleship at home such as weekly take-home resources and conversation guides

  • Events to celebrate important milestones

WHAT TO EXPECT

Aletheia Jr. on a Sunday

We want every child to feel safe, loved, and excited to learn about Jesus when they visit Aletheia Jr. Here’s what a typical Sunday looks like:

Gospel-Centered Teaching

We teach the Bible in ways kids can understand and apply.

  • Bible-based curriculum: Every lesson points children to God’s Word.

  • Big-picture storyline: Kids learn how all Scripture points to Jesus.

  • Christ-centered focus: Every activity and lesson highlights Jesus’ love and salvation.

Joyful Environment

We make learning about Jesus fun and memorable.

  • Worship: Energetic songs kids can sing and move to.

  • Crafts & activities: Hands-on experiences that reinforce Bible lessons.

  • Small group discussions: Age-appropriate conversations to help kids process what they’re learning.

Age-Based Classrooms

We provide teaching and activities appropriate for each stage of development:

  • Babies: Gentle care and nurturing environment.

  • 2’s & 3’s: Fun, interactive ways to learn about God.

  • 4s – Kindergarten: Engaging lessons and activities that build faith foundations.

  • 1st – 5th graders: Bible lessons, worship, and discussion to help kids grow in their understanding of God.

Safe & Secure

Your child’s safety is very important to us.

  • Easy check-in process: Quick and simple so kids (and their families) can start their morning smoothly.

  • Trusted volunteers: All volunteers are background-checked and trained.

  • Secure pickup: Clear procedures ensure your child is safely returned to you every week.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Safety & Security

Here’s how we keep every child safe and cared for during Sunday services:

Check-In & Security

  • When you arrive, our Family Greeting Station will provide a check-in tag and security stickers.

  • Children cannot enter the classroom without a check-in tag.

  • Keep your portion of the security sticker—or take a photo on your phone—to show the classroom manager when picking up your child.

Why the Stickers Matter

  • Child Safety: Your sticker or photo must be presented before your child is released.

  • Food Allergies: Stickers display any allergy information so volunteers can care for your child safely.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

  • Children may be dropped off 10 minutes before service and should be picked up within 10 minutes after service.

  • Adults may not enter classrooms without approval from the Aletheia Jr. Director.

  • Outside food or drinks are not permitted in classrooms.

Trusted Volunteers & Safety Team

  • All teachers and leaders are interviewed, recommended, trained, and background-checked.

  • Volunteers are never alone with children.

  • Our safety team members are present at every service to oversee classrooms and respond quickly if needed.

  • If we need to contact you during service, we will text you immediately.
