A NOTE TO PARENTS
This is a monthly newsletter that is intended to inform parents on what is going on in Aletheia Jr and to help provide resources to aid in family discipleship at home.
How You Can Be Praying
Pray that God would save the children at Aletheia and continue to reveal himself to them so that they would know and experience the love of Christ in their own lives.
Pray that the children would be missional and share the Gospel with their friends with boldness.
Pray for the volunteers of Aletheia Jr who are selflessly giving their abilities, time and energy to come alongside you in discipling your children.
Pray that Aletheia Jr as a ministry would grow deep and that we would be a people who are captivated by God and delight in His word.

Tips for Time, Moments, Milestones
TIME
Cool weather is coming! Have cozy bible studies and worship outdoors as a family with blankets and hot chocolate/tea.
Invite your children into Thanksgiving meal prep and utilize this time to pray for those who you are grateful for.
MOMENTS
During your cozy outdoor times, use these moments to ask questions about God as Creator (Who made the seasons? How does God provide in every season, even those we feel lack? How does creation remind us that God is powerful?)
Prepare a meal for someone in need and deliver it to them. Use this to have meaningful conversations about gratitude and sharing the love of Christ to others.
MILESTONES
Start an annual family gratitude tree. Write down things you are grateful for on leaves (cardstock or other crafts) and place them on the tree each day of November until Thanksgiving.
Choose a family, organization, neighbor or ministry to serve with your children each Thanksgiving morning to feed those who are less fortunate. Make it a tradition!
Create a family tradition by going around the table on Thanksgiving and sharing one way you have seen God’s faithfulness this year.

A Prayer from the Director
“ Lord, thank you for your endless grace and mercy over our lives. We praise you because You gave your only Son, to reconcile us and to save us from what we deserve. You are so good and faithful to continue to pour out mercy on Your creation, despite the faithlessness we often carry. But You Lord are faithful, even when we are faithless. You will always be good. Thank you for freely giving your goodness to us every day. Thank you that You are doing a good work in our hearts and minds and You are faithful to complete Your good work in us.
Thank you Lord for the parents reading this right now. Would you encourage them with your Spirit and give them strength and endurance in parenting. Would you reveal yourself to them as Comforter when they feel exhausted and Counselor when they wrestle with what is right and good in parenting. Protect their home from anything that is not of you. Give them wisdom that comes from You.
Save their children if they aren’t already saved. Sanctify them in your truth. Give them boldness to share your Gospel to others. Deepen their faith in you Lord. Would you be their greatest delight. Would there be nothing else they desire more than You.
We love you, Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”
