Our Elders, Deacons, Staff & Ministry Leaders
Our Convictions on Church Leadership
We believe the New Testament establishes two primary offices for leadership in the local church: elders and deacons. Elders are called to shepherd, oversee, and teach the church, providing spiritual leadership and care for the body. Deacons are called to serve the church by meeting practical needs and supporting the ministry, helping to protect and promote unity. Together, these distinct but complementary roles ensure that the church is faithfully led, well cared for, and equipped to carry out its mission.
-
Elders devote themselves to prayer, teaching, guarding doctrine, and shepherding the church (Acts 6:4).
-
Deacons meet practical and logistical needs to protect and support that calling (Acts 6:1–3)
-
Ministry Leaders provide leadership within the ongoing ministries of the church, focusing on people, formation, and mission, ensuring that every ministry is aligned with the gospel and contributing to disciple-making.
