LOCAL MISSIONARIES

Matt & Sarah Rodriguez, Navigators at USF

I work for The Navigators, an international, inter-denominational Christian ministry whose mission is to know Christ, make him known, and help others do the same primarily through life-to-life discipleship. I work in our collegiate ministry, specifically at the University of South Florida, as the Associate Campus Director for the ministry there. I meet with guys weekly, teaching them what it looks like to live for Christ as disciple-makers and also help teach and train our students at large how to read, study, and apply the Bible well in their everyday context. I also help run summer programs aimed at helping students across Florida grow in their faith both locally and across the globe through missions trips.

Callie & Christian Robles, Navigators at USF

In our ministry with the Navigators at the University of South Florida, we get to come alongside college students from all backgrounds to teach them to know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same. We do this through things like small-group Bible studies and life-to-life discipleship, meeting people where they are on their personal faith journey and helping them apply Jesus' love and truth to their lives. Within our ministry team, we have a specific focus of leading outreach/evangelism initiatives on campus and ministering to international students, who represent over 140 countries right here in Tampa! We get really excited about teaching students at USF the value of sharing their life and faith with non-Christians, and of God’s heart to reach all nations with the gospel.

FAMILY SUPPORT

Founded in 2003, Safe Families for Children partners with churches and trained volunteers to provide temporary, extended-family support for children whose families are in crisis, helping keep children safe while families stabilize. With tens of thousands of hostings worldwide and 95% of children returning home or to relatives, the movement works to keep families intact through compassionate, community-based care.

The Laundry Project mobilizes communities to serve as “Hope Dealers” by helping lower-income families cover laundry costs and transforming laundromats into welcoming spaces of care and connection. In partnership with Laundry Love, volunteers provide practical support and encouragement to families across the United States.

HOMELESS SUPPORT

Metropolitan Ministries serves people experiencing or at risk of homelessness by providing compassionate, Christ-centered care that alleviates suffering, restores dignity, and promotes self-sufficiency. Their vision is to be America’s most effective caregiver to the poor and homeless through innovative programs, strong community partnerships, and the transforming power of love.

PREGNANCY SUPPORT

New Life Solutions is committed to protecting the unborn, sharing the hope of the Gospel, and providing compassionate, life-affirming support to individuals and families facing unplanned or difficult circumstances. Through practical care and encouragement, they seek to bring hope, healing, and transformation—one life at a time.
