CAMPAIGN
13 years ago, Aletheia Church was planted! What started as a collegiate church, quickly became a diverse family, full of people from all ages and stages of life, who exist for one purpose: to see a greater worship of Jesus through disciple making and church planting. With the Lord’s provision, we have had the unique privilege of planting 4 additional churches out of Aletheia, sending scores of people and 100’s of thousands of dollars out in the process. While being content to stay portable, we never stopped praying or searching for a permanent home.
Then, 2020 came, & being nomads finally caught up with us. The stability we thought we could maintain at a YMCA or a middle school was not feasible any longer. The urgency for a permanent home hit its peak in February of this year when our current gathering location, Liberty Middle School, informed us we may not be able to gather over the summer. It was then that we entered into a time of prayer and fasting. And just a couple weeks into our church-wide fast, God said “Yes!”
Aletheia Church has signed a 10-year lease (with the option of an additional 10 years) on a commercial building located just west off of 275 and Fletcher Ave in Tampa. The building sits in an ideal location for us, positioning us to have a neighborhood presence in a strategically targeted area deeper in the heart of Tampa. The proximity to USF, the mixture of people from various socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, along with the potential exposure to almost 50,000 cars daily, places Aletheia in a location with extraordinary potential.

L-shaped, a perfect design for the 2 essential needs for a Sunday gathering:
A worship space that will seat upwards of 250.
A children’s space that will accommodate up to 100 children and volunteers.
the numbers
First year of lease is free. Beginning April 2023, monthly lease will start at $9,600 a month.
Lease price will increase incrementally each year, capping at $11,300 in year 10.
Total price for build out will be $400,000.
Landlord has agreed to contribute $100,000 at the end of build out.
Fundraising goal: $200,000 (half of the build out cost).
