Family Discipleship & Parenting Class
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25
Parents, don’t miss this opportunity to invest in your family and grow in confidence as you disciple your children toward Jesus!
Our Family Discipleship & Parenting Class is coming up Friday, September 25 from 6–9 PM, and registration closes September 19 (so you have enough time to receive and read your copy of Family Discipleship before the class.)
Whether your kids are toddlers, teenagers, or somewhere in between, this evening is designed to encourage and equip you with a biblical vision and practical tools for discipling your family. You’ll discover the Time, Moments, and Milestones framework, create a personalized plan for your family, hear encouragement from pastors and other parents, and enjoy dinner together. Each couple will also receive a copy of Family Discipleship by Matt Chandler & Adam Griffin.
Then, on Sunday, September 27, you and your spouse will have the opportunity to be commissioned by our church family as parents on mission, committing to faithfully point your children to Christ while inviting your church family to encourage, support, and pray for you.
This class is for parents of children of any age. Married couples are encouraged to attend together, and single parents are welcome too.
Registration closes September 19. Don’t wait to sign up!
FROM LAST SUNDAY
What Are We Living For?
2 Corinthians 5:1–10
In 2 Corinthians 5:1–10, Paul reminds us that our earthly lives are temporary, but our future with Christ is eternal and secure. Because Christ has secured our eternity, we don't have to live paralyzed by fear, shame, comfort, or the pressures of this world. Instead, we can move forward by faith, stewarding our lives for God's glory and the good of others. Our greatest ambition should be to please Jesus, knowing that what we do for Christ has eternal significance.
“He is the reward which makes him our greatest ambition.”
