Back to School Sunday!
As a new school year begins, we want to enter this season with intentionality, prayer, and purpose. Join us for Back to School Sunday as we pray over students, teachers, school staff, and families, asking God to guide, strengthen, and use them to shine the light of Christ throughout the coming school year.
Don't forget! School Supply Drive!!
We're collecting school supplies to help students and teachers at Carrollwood K–8 prepare for the new school year.
Bring any of the requested supplies this Sunday and drop them off at the designated collection area in the lobby before or after either worship service.

The God Factor
2 Corinthians 1:1-11
Last week we began our new series through 2 Corinthians! Pastor Aaron introduced the book and reminded us that life only makes sense when God is at the center. Walking through 2 Corinthians 1:1–11, he showed that when we make room for God, we discover His mercy, experience His comfort, and rely on His power instead of our own. Rather than calling us to try harder or become more self-sufficient, the gospel invites us to embrace our weakness, trust the God who raises the dead, and find hope in His presence through every trial.

Get baptized at the beach!
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20 | FORT DE SOTO BEACH
Our annual Beach Baptism Celebration is one of the most joyful gatherings of the year, and we'd love for you to be part of it!
At Aletheia, we believe baptism is a beautiful, public declaration of a believer's faith in Jesus and the finished work of His death and resurrection. It's an outward expression of an inward transformation, a step of obedience that marks new life in Christ and a commitment to follow Him.
If you've placed your faith in Jesus and have not yet been baptized, this is a meaningful next step. If you're still exploring what baptism means, we'd love to walk with you and help you understand its significance.
This year, we'll gather as a church family at Fort De Soto Beach to celebrate those being baptized. After the baptisms, everyone is invited to stay and enjoy a fun afternoon at the beach with food, drinks, and games provided by the church. It's a special opportunity for our entire church family to worship, celebrate, and spend time together.
When you register to be baptized, you'll have the opportunity to share a bit of your story and ask any questions you may have. Our team will follow up with you to guide you through the process and help you prepare for this special day.
Registration is only required for those being baptized. Everyone is welcome to attend and celebrate with us! Registration for baptism closes September 6.
We would be honored to celebrate with you as you take this important step in following Jesus.
A QUICK RECAP
Member Meeting & Worship Night
Sunday was a special night as we gathered for our Member Meeting & Worship Night.
Together we worshiped, celebrated what God is doing in and through our church, and heard testimonies of how He is growing a greater worship of Jesus through City Groups, Seeing Jesus Together, Aletheia Jr., Teleios, Global Missions, and our Marriage Conference.
We also heard from Ethan Yoder as he shared about his recent mission trip to the Dominican Republic and encouraged us to make room for mission together:
"There is nothing like doing missions with your church. There is no closer experience… A week of doing missions with those in your local church will do more for togetherness, more impact than than maybe anything else we do here.... It is worth the sacrifice. God will use it to change how you see the world and how you live on mission where you are right now."

City Groups at Aletheia are where we build gospel-centered community,living out the gospel in our living rooms. It’s where we share life, enjoy meals together, dive into God’s Word, and pray with one another. Where you’ll find real relationships, encouragement in your faith journey, and a deeper sense of belonging in our church family.
AUGUST 30 | FAMILY SUNDAY
Elementary-aged children will join their parents in the worship gathering as we celebrate what God is doing and encourage one another in following Jesus together.
SEPTEMBER 12 | MEN’S COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME DAY
Join us for an afternoon of football, food, and fellowship as we watch Texas A&M take on Arizona State together. Bring a snack or drink to share, connect with other men from Aletheia, and enjoy a great game and even better conversations.
