EQUIPPING PARENTS TO WORSHIP JESUS & MAKE DISCIPLES AT HOME.
Family Discipleship & Parenting Class
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 | 6-9PM
Parents, you have the incredible privilege of being the primary disciple-makers in your children’s lives, but knowing where to begin can feel overwhelming.
Our Family Discipleship & Parenting Class is designed to help you build a biblical vision for family discipleship and give you practical tools you can begin using right away. Whether your children are toddlers, teenagers, or anywhere in between, you’ll leave encouraged and equipped to intentionally lead your family toward Jesus.
During the evening, you’ll discover Aletheia’s family discipleship framework—Time, Moments, and Milestones—and begin creating a personalized plan for your own family. You’ll also receive:
A clear, biblical vision for family discipleship
Practical tools to use at home
A personalized plan for discipling your family
Encouragement from pastors and other parents
A copy of Family Discipleship by Matt Chandler & Adam Griffin for your couple
Dinner is included with registration.
Then, on Sunday, September 27...
You and your spouse will be commissioned during worship by our church family as parents on mission, committing yourselves to faithfully point your children to Christ while inviting your church family to encourage, support, and pray for you.
Registration:
$30 per couple through September 6
$35 per couple after September 6
Registration closes September 19 so there is enough time to receive and read the book before the class.
This class is for parents of children of any age. We encourage married couples to attend together. Single parents are also welcome. Please email aletheiajr@aletheiatampa.com if you need assistance participating.
Don’t miss this opportunity to invest in your family and grow in confidence as you disciple your children toward Jesus.
FROM LAST SUNDAY
The Gospel Factor
2 Corinthians 2:5-17
Last week Pastor Aaron reminded us that the good news of Jesus changes everything. Because we have been forgiven through Christ, we are called to become people who forgive, choosing restoration, love, and obedience rather than allowing bitterness, shame, or resentment to take root. Forgiveness does not ignore sin; instead, it strips sin of its power and makes room for God’s restoring grace.
The gospel also moves us beyond our own pain so that we can live as a fragrance of Christ to those around us. Like Paul, we are called not only to proclaim the gospel but to display it through the way we love, forgive, serve, and care for others. When we make room for the gospel, we can move forward from our pain, open our hearts and homes, and live for the good of others and the glory of Christ.

THERE’S A PLACE FOR YOU
How Are You Serving?
God has given each of us Resources, Abilities, Time, and Energy (R.A.T.E.) to steward for His glory—and one of the primary ways we do that is by serving others.
Right now, we have some specific needs on Sundays:
Aletheia Jr: 5 teachers/volunteers needed
Worship Team
Hospitality: 6 teachers/volunteers needed
Take a moment to ask yourself: How am I using my R.A.T.E. to serve within the life of the church?
There’s a place for you, and we’d love to help you find it.
Let's steward what God has entrusted to us and use it to make disciples in our church, our city, and our world.
